I had the brisket omelet with jalapeño cheese! It was great! First time here and one the best breakfast places I’ve ever been too! Real fast all day! Owner is a hunter and has many mounted animals throughout!
The food is very good. The prices are higher than most diners. The waitresses are great and they take your order at the table and deliver your food. However you have to pay at the register. Which I suppose is why it’s called a diner and not a restaurant. Also the owner is a hunter and the diner is the place where he displays his kills. Not for the squeamish.
i love it here! it’s my favorite breakfast place! i always get my usual but sometimes i get my usual and another random dish to try and i’ve loved every new thing! the servers are always so welcoming, friendly, and have a positive attitude. i love all of the decoration inside.. its definitely a place for everyone! it’s so cool and fun! this is the best breakfast place! i have an instagram account (@tifFRIES) for potatoes and i’ve posted many pics of my plates from Michael’s! people, food, everything is always amazing! 😋♥️
The food wa great, the ambience is very unique and feel like one is taken back to the times when we hunt and gathered because of all the real stuffed animals everywhere.
The food was good and served hot and on time. Although the service was friendly, it didn’t seem like she was
Present in her thoughts to say the least about it.
It seem like the owner works with his team amd it’s a very friendly environment (even for an immigrant such as myself) and the guests went out of their way to offer to take a family picture for us.
If you’re in the are, you should definitely come and support a locally owned busines.
You’ll walk away with a full belly and feeling good for having partaken on a local busines.
Stopped by Michael’s Bridge Diner in Lancaster, Ma for an early lunch and wasn’t disappointed! I gad the Chili Deluxe which is chili, onions and plenty of yummy cheese and tortilla chips for dipping . Chili was delicious and meaty with a little bit of sweet and spicy ! Also had the chili Mac and cheese which had chili on top of Mac and cheese , delicious also ! Both dishes were plentiful ! Staff are always super nice ! Comfortable place decorated to the hilt with game animals .
Country style breakfast at it's finest. HUGE pancakes! Love the blueberry ones. Kind of wish they used fresh berries for the strawberry ones too. Frozen strawberries are too watery. But just order the strawberries on the side, and not on top of the pancakes, and problem solved. Also, ordering a scoop of vanilla ice cream with the strawberry pancakes, and you've got breakfast and dessert all rolled up into one. 😋 His eggs benedict is first rate. I always order it with soft poached eggs though, because if I don't, it may not come that way. Gotta have that yolk come running out. Hollandaise is fresh, homemade and delicious. I always order a side of his homemade hash with it. Extremely high flavor, with a hint of spice. I would love to make it myself if I knew the recipe. Yes, it's THAT GOOD! Also, when buying a breakfast order that comes with toast. Skip the regular toast, and pay just a little extra for the homemade toast. It's thicker sliced, and you can taste that it was baked in house. I always get the blueberry or the apple cinnamon raisin swirl. It's worth the extra money. Personally, I don't know why he just doesn't make all of his bread from scratch. I would love to see that for his sandwiches. Make white, whole wheat, marble rye, maybe some hearty oatmeal, or a nice multigrain with sunflower seeds. Finally, I would love in the summertime, to see a nice lobster 🦞 salad roll on a buttered grilled top split hot dog roll, with some crisp iceberg lettuce or maybe some delicate butter lettuce, and also a "Maine Benedict." Which would be sautéed buttered lobster meat, with soft poached eggs, Hollandaise, on puff pastry cups, with a little fresh dill and chive. Just a few suggestions. I'd be dining even more. 😊
Update: my wish came true!!! Michael has officially put a lobster 🦞 roll, and a Lobster Benedict on his weekday, and weekend menu. Lobster Benny is only available on Saturday and Sunday. But I have tried it, and it is a solid 10 in my book. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Order it with an extra side of his AMAZING Hollandaise sauce. It's worth the extra $3.99. Lobster Roll is just as good. Chock-full of lobster meat, in a nicely buttered and toasted hot dog roll, with a little lettuce. Perfect!!! So Happy 😊!!! Thank you so much Michael for adding those two items for the summer. I'll be eating them often.
Great variety on the menu. The corned beef hash omlet was very tasty! The service was wonderful, and our waitress was very friendly. I would certainly come here again when back in this area.
Met a friend for breakfast at 8am. Immediately sat down and served hot coffee. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. And the atmosphere was great, reminds me of a place you'd find in NH without going that far north. Can't wait to go back.
